* We are less than 24 hours away from SCW's debut show in Winder, GA (20 minutes outside of Athens)!

* While first and second row seating have all said out, tickets still remain for general admission! Act quick while you can!

* The following talents will be on hand for his humongous first event:

• K-Murda & Lil Shan (collectively known as the 404 Mafia)
• Miguel Rodriguez
• "Florida's Finest" Andy Cade (w/ the lovely Lady Lila)

* In addition to that, SCW Officials are happy to announce yet another set of talent that will be booked! Jeremy Anderson and Davey Jackson, better known as the Carolina Connection, will be in action! The Carolina Connection are probably best known for their intense rivalry with southern wrestling icons "The Louisiana Legend" Bobby BeLue and "The Bear" Buddy Stevens!

* Mikey Cox and Jimmy Swann (The Cruisers) will do autograph signings at 5:30 p.m. before the show!

* The time is now! On Saturday, August 1, 2009, Southern Championship Wrestling will invade the Athens, GA-area with the kind of exciting wrestling you can't find anywhere else! Bell-time is 6:00 p.m. at the National Guard Armory in Winder, GA (just 20 minutes outside of Athens)!

* Tickets are on sale RIGHT NOW in the scwwrestling.com store! Front row tickets are $15, second row are $10, and general admission is $5! Act now so you don't end up left out in the rain! Tickets will be on sale at the event as well.

* It can also be announced that the man who has put his voice to just about every single southern pro wrestling organization imaginable will be calling the SCW action! We are, of course, referring to Joey Kidman!

* Ken Wisenbaker will unveil the top championship belt in SCW at the live event this weekend. He will also address some of the requests that were asked for in one our recent polls.

* SCW promised to deliver two big booking announcements and that's precisely what we have for you today!

* Many people remember the last Southern Pro Wrestling Juniorweight Champion, Brad Powers. Brad has built an impressive resume on the southern independent circuit, plying his craft in Georgia, the Carolinas, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. We are incredibly happy to announce that "The Southern Gentleman" will be a fixture on SCW shows!

* In addition to Brad Powers, we can also announce that "The Gambler" Colby Castle will be a fixture on SCW shows! The Georgia-bred athlete has more than made a name for himself out west in the SoCal area. This will be the first time Castle has performed in a Georgia-based wrestling promotion.

* Lastly, as promised, SCW Officials have made a decision. For the foreseeable future, SCW will call the National Guard Armory in Winder, GA (only 20 minutes outside of Athens!) home! With this final piece of the puzzle locked in place, SCW Officials are ready to begin building their show! An announcement will be made within the week of the first set of dates.

* We at SCW would like to announce a partnership with Tully Nixon's School of Grappling! We look forward to having the students of his school work on our shows. It'll be a valuable lesson in experience for them as well as an opportunity for us to market new stars to you, the fans!

* We would like to confirm that we have come to agreements with booking GLWA's Chett "The Hangman" Hawkins!

* We would also like to confirm that we have come to agreements with local Georgia stars, Eric and Jeff Baker, the Baker Brothers!
